On a walk down the riverwalk the other day we were throwing a NERF Football around.  Last time we did this the football ended up in the river but the tide pushed it back to shore so it was rescued.  This time the ball got stuck in a tree. 

After throwing various sticks, rocks and bricks at the tree to try and dislodge the football we had to give up.  Not only had the ball not fallen out of the tree but all of our weaponry at this point was lodged in the tree. 

The following day a couple of the guys took to the riverwalk again for revenge on the tree. The masterful video by Nuinca below explains the rest.
